Unless my eyes deceived me, this morning's Fresno Bee said the temperature yesterday at 4:00 p.m. on the warning track at Chukchansi Park was 152 degrees.
152 degrees?
The all-time record high in Fresno is 115. Yesterday hit 109. Today its supposed to be 112.
The best I can remember, the hottest day I've ever experienced was in central Texas in advance of a hurricane that hit the Galveston coast. It was 111.
If this heat wave doesn't subside, 111 might feel comfortable.
