Wednesday night marked the finale of an effort to reach out to At-Risk families currently housed by the County of Fresno Human Services System. A group from Woodward Park went out every-other Wednesday and made a difference. Through feeding both physically and spiritually, and supplying both clothing and schooling, at least six different families have expressed an interest in knowing more about Jesus.On Saturday, the crew will be back downtown for our first Saturday of the month outreach. It's supposed to be just a tad on the warm side, but living the mission of Jesus is worth it!

Also on Saturday, the Bulldogs kickoff the season by hosting Sacramento State. The girls and I have purchased season tickets in the Family Section. Fall college football has been a staple for Mandy and I since our marriage and we are excited about sharing the pageantry of college football with the girls.
With that being said, look for the Bulldogs to get off to a fast start before heading into College Station. I see the Bulldogs taking down the Hornets by 4 touchdowns, despite the preseason injuries/attrition that have cut into the 'Dogs depth.
