I've been touched, teaching through First Peter, how that God equates his children with treasure. In the Old Testament, God's people are his treasured possession. In the New Testament, that value isn't diminished (just read 1 Peter 1.1-2.10 if you don't believe me).Being in the family of God is my eternal treasure; being blessed with three beautiful ladies in the Gardner family is my earthly treasure.
